New Content - The Basement Tapes

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays Everyone.
I’ve uploaded the Basement Tapes…newly mixed by Scott Woodman. These were recorded in the early 80s in my basement in Peabody. Some of my favorite tracks were recorded in the basement, and now you can download them! Go to the home page at http://www.baselines.com and click on the Private Lightning Session CDs link. All the songs are there under the ‘Basement Tapes’ section. Ho Ho Ho, Merry Christmas! Enjoy all the free stuff you can get in this shitty Obama economy. Keep the faith, real (good) change is coming.

Steve,
Thanks for sharing more P L lost gems. This huge fan is always happier when more P L music is posted! Still hoping there will be some kind of reunion show in the future….. With Pattys’ classical background a one time concert (Recorded of course for future release) with an Orchestra playing behind the band would be phenominal! I’d appreciate your thoughts on this idea. Merry Christmas Steve and a Happy & Healthy new year! Thanks for keeping the music of Private Lightning alive
Take Care,

Thanks for the great memories. I booked Private Lightning in the early 80’s at UNH in the mub pub. I was a student and worked for the student organization MUSO. I even still have a signed copy of the album.
This was a great era. My 15 year old daughter is about to start taking creative writing and music lessons from Robin Lane who also performed at UNH as Robin LAne and the chartbusters. Some other Boston bands to perform at UNH that year were Human Sexual Response and The Rings.
